Verify your site by uploading a unique verification file to your website's root folder. This confirms ownership and is required to start monetization.
Verification steps
After adding your site in the Sites section, click 'Download verification file'.
Upload the .txt file to your website's root folder (e.g.,
public_html/,www/) using any FTP, cPanel, or your host's file manager.Do not rename the file or place it in a subfolder.
Confirm it's accessible at:
yoursite.com/yourfilename.txt
Click 'Verify site' in your dashboard.
If the file is placed correctly, verification is instant. You may delete the file after successful verification. After that, your site will enter the moderation state.
