Can I monetize a domain if it has no content?

Yes, you can monetize domains with no content, such as parked or expired domains, using Direct Click ads designed for domain redirect traffic: [📘What are Direct Click ads?]

To integrate your domains with RollerAds, we use NS (Nameserver) replacement — you point your domain's nameservers to ours. This is the most common and recommended method.

When a user types a domain into their browser's address bar and lands on your parked, expired, or typo domain, they are automatically redirected to an advertiser's landing page. You earn revenue for each successful redirect. This is often referred to as a zero-click monetization model because no further action is required from the user.

This approach is specifically for domains without content. If you have a website with content, Direct Click can also be set up with clickable elements (buttons, links) — but that's a separate integration: [📘How can I monetize websites with content?]

Step 1: In the Sites section, go to Domain parking tab.

Step 2: Click 'Activate Domain parking' to enable this feature.

Step 3: Click 'Create domains' on the same page. Alternatively, you can add domains via Sites → Add new site

Step 4: Select Domain parking as the product type. Add your root domains manually or paste them from a spreadsheet — we'll handle cleanup of line breaks, tabs, extra spaces, and duplicates. Once submitted, nameservers will be assigned automatically.

Log in to your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains), open the DNS or Nameservers section, and replace the default nameservers with the ones listed. Make sure DNSSEC is disabled. DNS updates can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours to fully apply.

You can also add tags to organize your domains.

Step 5: When you are done, click 'Create domains'. Once they are verified and nameservers are propagated, monetization begins automatically.
